Clare Holder is a self taught artist, specialising in detailed coloured pencil and graphite portraits.

​

Creating realistic portraits that capture the subjects personality, her works are vibrant and expressive.

While working primarily in coloured pencils and watercolour, Clare loves to explore different mediums, continuously developing her style by playing around with digital art and mixed media.

​

With a Diploma in Fashion Design, Clare credits many of the skills she learnt while studying as key to her art practice today.

Clare also holds a Diploma in Holistic Integrated Creative Arts Therapy, so keep an eye out for her mindfulness watercolour workshops!

​

Clare has exhibited works around Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula, has designed 3 seasons of prints for local children's wear label Adeline's Closet, as well as designing prints for local nappy company Bizzy Little Bean.

​

Taking the reins of Geelong Illustrators in 2017, Clare has been loving fostering the community for passionate local artists.
