Let's get social!
Nic Everist is a lover of the outdoors and exploring new places. Starting her art journey 5 years ago after graduating and working as a Physiotherapist, Nic's love for all things creative and the journey of self development has been a joy for her career thus far. Creating a range of abstract or realistic landscapes, in her signature style of acrylic fluid pour and loose realism, Nic loves creating a series of works or commission pieces to bring people's favourite places to their homes!
"When I was working full time as a physiotherapist, I always felt like something was missing and it wasn't until I rekindled my love of painting that I released I needed to change my career path. Exploring new places, meeting new people and creating meaningful pieces of art has been such a joy, I know I will paint for my entire life and I feel so lucky I have found the thing I am crazily passionate about."
Nic creates a range of works, from custom commissioned pieces to exhibiting a whole series of work exploring the complexities of the natural environment and the interaction people have with it.
"Working with clients on a commission piece always brings new challenges as I seek to create a piece that expresses my clients view and creates the feel of a place as they have experienced it. I frequently work on pieces as a gift for weddings or birthdays which brings a new challenge of showcasing the place as the gift receiver sees it, and always brings so much joy when I see pictures or hear how much clients enjoy their surprise gift!"
If you are interested in a custom piece or want to see more of Nic's work, she currently has a Pop Up Gallery 171-173 Moorabool Street Geelong or simply send through an email or check our her social media channels, she would love to work with you!
